He also applied some safety-related innovations that allowed children as young as seven years old to take part in the activityensuring riders would not find themselves sliding in to the horses rump at sudden stops! So if youre staying in a catered chalet in the resort and youre in the mood to try something different, ski-joering could be for you. It is offered at the resorts equestrian centre.

Shop till you Drop

You didn't come all the way to Les Arcs just to go shopping, right? But as long as youre here, why not try out Les Arcs local shopping scene? It's a very good reason to leave the temporary comforts of your catered chalet - the resorts literally hundreds of shops and boutiques serve every possible need, from hypermarkets to high heels. Everything you can possibly need in relation to a skiing holiday can be found in the local shops, and then some. Arc 1950, for example, has dozens of wonderful boutiques for adults and children, and you will certainly find something worth taking home as souvenirs from any of the many gift shops located throughout the resort.
