Airforce Spirit to contest against Farloe Bowser in the J.B Riney MBE Kent Champion Hurdle ? Heat 2
The second heat of the J.B Riney MBE Kent Champion Hurdle will be hosted by Crayford on 10th November. The total prize money for the race is ?100. With their gaze glued on the winner?s prize money are Airforce Spirit, Mullaprk Too, Shelbourne Satin, Soviet Military, Indigo Ash and Farloe Bowser. The race has successfully gathered some of the best in the field.
One of the most endearing entries in the line-up tonight is the three-year-old black and white hound, Airforce Spirit. Two out of his last five outings at the hurdle races were successes. None of the races were over the distance that he has to race over tonight.
His won the title of the Grade OR Wimbledon Hop on 6th October, 2012 at Wimbledon over 480 metres hurdle.
The fourth trap saved up most of the ground in the middle of the track, and then did not wait long to pick up the lead that got him to the other end of the wire in 29.44 seconds.
Settling as the runner-up was, Druids Mickey Ma, who missed the chance by good 6 ? lengths.
Two failures down the line got the R. Hilloway trained the 480 metres hurdle on 27th October in the Big Ted?s 70th Birthday Classic at Wimbledon. This time the three-year-old broke from the third trap, and was entered as the favourite entry of the race.
Breaking into an early high gear, running in the middle and keeping up firmly with the lead got him on the other end of the wire in 29.35 seconds. The most preferred candidate performed up to the mark and defeated the fifth trap, Farloe Bowser, by 5 ? lengths.
The last three races of Tyrur Lee?s son have been against Farloe Bowser, who lost one, but was prevalent in the other two.
The three-year-old out of, Loyal Irish, has been entered as the favourite entry for the last four outings.
Breaking from the very opposite end is the three-year-old black dog, Farloe Bowser, contesting against Airforce Spirit for a straight fourth time. The sixth trap is backed by 3 to 1 entry who can take complete advantage of breaking from the wide end.
